What is profiling and assessment?

Assessments and/or profiling are often used to add to the information organizations review to make decisions regarding hiring or promoting individuals.  It helps to provide information as to the individual’s natural talents and capabilities.  Often, written questionnaires and interviews are used in the process to gather information. The time required to conduct an assessment varies, but can range from one hour online to five-seven hours observation, depending on the extent of the information desired.
